PCRFU 2005 Eligibility Procedures

hoping to participate in the 2005 championship cycle, must adhere to the following:

2005 Championship Eligibility Procedures

Collegiate Clubs

  • Players (and teams) must be CIPP registered before participating in any LAU league fixture.
  • Clubs that do not begin league play until after March 1st must still have their club and a minimum of 15 players CIPP registered on or before February 15th to qualify for post-season play.   • Teams can add players to their CIPP rosters up to March 15th. Those registered after March 15th will not be eligible for the territorial event.
  • To qualify for the territorial post season, teams need to fax their USA Rugby College Player Eligibility form to the Territorial Competitions Chair by February 15th. This document must include the school’s registrar seal, complete with the names of their players, their status (full, part time) and their date of matriculation and CIPP number. Additions to this list are accepted up to March 15th of the championship year.
  • Teams advancing to the collegiate championship are provided with a list of qualifying players from their eligibility form. Only players from this approved list are allowed to participate in the territorial championship.
  • Players must present current photo identification to be checked at the event site by the appropriate match commissioner.
Senior Clubs
  • Players (and teams) must be CIPP registered before participating in any LAU league fixture.
  • Clubs that do not play a full spring schedule must have their players and team CIPP registered by March 1st.
  • Teams can add players to their CIPP rosters up to April 1st. Those registered after April 1st will not be eligible for the territorial event.
  • Teams advancing to a specific territorial championship are provided with a list of qualifying players. Proper citizenship documentation must be submitted for those individuals not currently registered in the USA Rugby database as having their documentation verified.
  • Players must present current photo identification to be checked at the event site by the appropriate match commissioner.
